Jamie: (a.k.a. 'Goose')

Works as a Special Needs Teacher in Doncaster. Has a love for the outdoors and indulges in many activities, running, walking, mountain biking, road cycling, camping, climbing, kayaking, to name a few... as often as he possibly can. This has led Jamie to taking up Adventure Racing again after a 3 year lay off... with a new team... TEAM 71!

Works as a Teaching Assistant in a Special School in Doncaster. John's main passion is for kayaking/canoeing. Though he is also into walking, mountain biking, road cycling, camping, climbing. Johns interest in Adventure Racing started with the C2C Race. It has left him wanting to find out more... watch this space!

Richard

Works as a Teaching Assistant in a Special Needs School in Doncaster. Richard completed the 10k Aaa-Adventure-Challenge and is looking forward to entering many more challenging multi-sport events..

Ross: (a.k.a. 'Youth')  

The latest member of our team. Ross is a personal trainer and basketball player. Definitely the fittest member of team 71. He first joined us as third team member for the 10k Safe@last Challenge.

Paul: (a.k.a. 'Comedy Paul')

Paul has dabbled in outdoor sports, at times, when a busy work and family life have allowed. He plays guitar, sings and does other technical stuff in band 'Nobody's Fault'. Paul and Jamie have hatched a mad plan to do the Seabank Marathon in June.

Andy

Works as a joiner. His main passion is for mountain biking, he also enjoys hill walking, camping and bouldering. Having done the C2C on a mountain bike some years previous Andy was keen to take on the C2C Adventure Race. Having successfully ticked that one off we may see him taking on some mountain bike based events in the future.
